Flowbotics Leads Transition from Optus to ATN for Australian Super
Following AustralianSuper’s $1.9 billion acquisition of Australia Tower Network (ATN) from Singtel Flowbotics was appointed to lead the technology transition and transformation. ATN covers 2,300 sites with another 565 in development. The challenge was to build a technology ecosystem from scratch in 8 months while ensuring high levels of automation to support the expanding portfolio.
Flowbotics developed an architecture leveraging the Boomi integration platform to ensure workflow from core and operational systems is seamless, eliminating traditionally manual steps in Tower Management processes. Despite the short timeframe a go to market strategy was executed to select new systems ensuring modern systems architecture and value for money.
Migrating data from Optus’ legacy systems proved to be a significant challenge. The combination of Flowbotics tool sets and a great combined team of Optus and Flowbotics personnel was able to extract, analyze and transform the data for the new systems.
